Homework 9.11.07

September 11, 2007

Hello Students,

Please forgive me for forgetting to post last night’s homework. In spite of my forgetfulness, most of you turned in your homework! (yay!)

Tonight’s homework is as follows:

Homework Period 1-4

Using your Cornell Notes that you took in class, write a  summary of the video we watched in class today.

Period 5

Bedcause we did not finish watching the in-class video, you do not have homework. Please remember to bring your notes to class because you will need them as we finish watching the video on 9/11.

Excuses Quiz…

The quiz on the poem, “Excuses,” has been postponed until Friday. If you did not copy down the quiz, I will post it below.

Ecxuses”

Excuses are tools of the incompetent

They build monuments of nothingness

And those that dwell upon them

Are seldom good for anything more

Remember, if you have anyquestions, please feel free to email me or leave a comment on the site. My email is: MyFavClass@gmail.com

peace,

Who Am I? Project

September 6, 2007

Hello Students!

Today was another fabulous day around CMS! I am so lucky to have such wonderful students. Here is a quick reminder about your “Who Am I?” Poster Project….I know I said it wasn’t homework, but in case some of you forgot to copy the assignment from the board, here it is again.

 Who Am I? Poster

Step One: Write at least two (2) paragraphs about yourself. Some of the things you may want to include in your paragraphs are:

  • When & where you were born
  • What makes you unique
  • Talents you possess
  • Things that you love/like

Step Two: Create an “Who Am I” poster. You poster will include your paragraphs as well as illustrations (drawings/decorations) that reflects your personality.

This project is worth 20 pts., and will mainly be done in class. Please try your best to be as creative as possible. I willbe posting the posters around the room.
