Hey Majestics!
Another awesome day today. It was great getting to hear all of the interesting things about you in your partner interviews. I can’t wait to continue to get to know you guys as the year goes on. We are going to have so much fun together (and learn A LOT!).
As you already noticed, we’ll be doing a lot of work in pairs and groups, so get ready to move around and work with different people. From the looks of it, you guys are more than able to work together (and do good work), so I’m looking forward to what’s to come.
Tonight’s homework (and every night’s homework, unless we have a writing assignment) is to read. You need to pick an independent book to read BY FRIDAY, Sept. 17th. Bring it to class so I can write down the name of the book and you can get cracking. If you need a book, feel free to check one out from me (I just got some GREAT ones in) or hit your local library.
